The Edmonton Oilers Have Issued Qualifying Offers to 5 RFAs

The team has given qualifying offers to defensemen Philip Broberg and Noel Hoefenmayer, as well as forwards James Hamblin, Dylan Holloway, and Raphael Lavoie. Holloway had a strong season, playing 38 regular season games and all 25 Stanley Cup Playoff games for the Oilers in 2023-24. He scored a total of six goals and three assists in the regular season, and five goals and two assists in the playoffs. Additionally, he played 49 games with the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors, scoring five goals and 33 assists. Broberg had a notable performance in the playoffs, taking over Vinny Desharnais’s position and forming a strong partnership with Darnell Nurse.

James Hamblin played 31 games for Edmonton in the regular season, scoring two goals and an assist. He also played 13 games for the Condors, contributing four goals and four assists.

Raphael Lavoie made his NHL debut by playing seven games for the Oilers and had a productive AHL season, scoring 28 goals and 22 points in 66 games with the Bakersfield Condors.
