Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner's newest joint career venture isn't something to laugh about — or, maybe, it is.
The Giggly Squad podcast co-hosts, who were friends and colleagues before they both joined the Summer House cast in Season 3, are becoming co-authors.
The besties announced that their book, How to Giggle, is available for pre-order on Instagram on May 27.
"WE WROTE A BOOK — this is not a bit. How To Giggle is available for pre-order now at the link in our bio!" Paige and Hannah wrote about their debut book, before revealing what it's about. "This book is our guide to taking life less seriously and is probably the most admin we will ever do."
The book's official description reads, "If you’re in need of a good laugh, leave it to the giggle queens and their signature blend of practical life advice with an ample supply of hilarity. You may even find your chuckles becoming more like cackles — it’s just that fun..."
How to Giggle will feature "hilarious and heartwarming advice on how to take life a little bit less seriously," and it will cover topics like "overcoming awkward situations, red flags in female friendships and romantic relationships, using delusion and manifestation to achieve your goals, [and] decentering men from your life."
Hannah and Paige started their comedy podcast back in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic began. The pair came up with the show's name after Kyle Cooke called them out for laughing while he was talking about his wedding plans with Amanda Batula on Summer House Season 4.
"[Lindsay Hubbard's] actually talking to you, and you're, like, hanging out with the giggly squad," he said to Amanda about Paige and Hannah during the first group dinner in the Hamptons on Season 4. "Can we just have one person talking at a time and be respectful? You literally are giggling all the time."
What happened to Hannah Berner on Summer House?
The podcast host left Summer House after Season 5 to focus on her burgeoning comedy career.
"This past year has been one of the most important in my life for self reflection, love, and learning a lot of sh-t. I’ve welcomed new career ventures, challenges and obstacles, and opportunities for growth," she shared on Instagram in 2021. "As we climb out of the emotional trenches of 2020, I look forward to an exciting summer, but with mixed emotions I’m announcing I won’t be spending it living in the summer house.”
"These last three summers have truly been a whirlwind and the show has, without a doubt, changed my life and I will forever be thankful for the platform it has provided me," she continued. "Making people laugh is what brings me joy and I am so excited to announce that I will spending this summer touring my standup and telling fart jokes at comedy clubs and theaters near you."
When does Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner's book come out?
Though fans can pre-order the book now, How to Giggle will not be coming out until April 15, 2025.
In the meantime, stream Summer House on Peacock now.
