The “Summer House” alum has been a staple on Bravo, but it looks like fans will have to wait to see her on their screens again. In a recent exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the 32-year-old fashion influencer opened up about her decision to step back from the cameras.
While she isn’t closing the door on television for good, she made it clear a return isn’t happening in the immediate future. “Reality TV was so fun, and I feel like I was the perfect age to do Summer House and what the vibe was,” DeSorbo explained. “I would never say never, but I think coming off of it after seven years, I would love a break.” She reaffirmed that any potential return to reality TV wouldn’t be “anytime soon.”
Last month, DeSorbo announced her departure from “Summer House” ahead of its tenth season, calling it a “little life update” on her Instagram Stories. “Being part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life,” she wrote. “But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it’s time for this chapter to close.”
Trading Hamptons Weekends for a New Beginning
Instead of spending her weekends on Long Island, DeSorbo is looking forward to a different kind of summer. She told PEOPLE she’s excited to spend more time with her family in Albany and explore “new spots.” This new chapter comes after a period of personal change for DeSorbo, including her breakup with “Southern Charm” star Craig Conover after three years together.
She announced the split on her “Giggly Squad” podcast, handling the news with grace and respect. “I have so much love and respect for Craig,” DeSorbo shared. “I think he is one of the best people I have ever met in my entire life… I think it was just the right decision for both of us moving forward in our lives.”
It seems moving forward includes a new romance. DeSorbo has reportedly been quietly dating Joe D’Amelio, a marketing executive for Klutch Sports Group. The relationship appears to be a significant part of her happy new beginning away from the cameras.

Fans first started speculating about a new man in DeSorbo’s life when she was seen at a Philadelphia Eagles game in January.
