The Summer House cast member experienced a big first in her fertility journey: "I'm very proud of myself."
Although she’s in no rush to have children, Paige DeSorbo is taking steps to preserve her fertility.
The Summer House cast member opened up about her baby plans during the May 14 episode of Giggly Squad, her podcast series with her former castmate Hannah Berner. Paige confirmed she had her first egg-freezing procedure over Mother’s Day weekend and has been feeling quite “maternal” ever since.
“You wanna know why I felt maternal?” she asked. “This is how I knew: Walking down the streets of New York City, I was like, ‘If anyone steps to me right now with my eggs just brewing and ready to be taken out, I’ll f—king cut someone.’”

Paige’s egg retrieval was performed by Dr. Joshua Klein, a reproductive endocrinologist and co-founder of NYC’s Extend Fertility clinic.
“He was amazing,” the Hamptons Housemate said about her doctor. “I felt smarter after being around him. Every time he said, ‘Good question' to me, I was like, ‘I’m a good student.’”
Paige said she had her “trigger shot,” aka hormone injection, on May 7 and went in for her egg retrieval on the morning of May 9. She said the surgical retrieval took about 20 minutes and yielded more than two dozen eggs.
