Fresh off winning gold at the World Championships, Bruins David Pastrnak sat with the Spittin Chiclets and dropped that he would like Oilers Leon Draisaitl in a Bruins uniform.
Draisaitl's contract will be their biggest ticket item to look at this offseason as the Oilers are able to sign a long-term extension after July 1st. Discussions have been quiet, and news has not emerged on what he is looking for in terms of term or money, but it's safe to say negotiations are ongoing quietly.
After making his statement it was clear that Pastrnak's comments could be viewed as tampering towards Draisaitl as he is under contract with the Oilers after this year. NHL players and organizations are forbidden conducting business while under contract.
Pastrnak went on to say but he feels that people who want to join the Bruins will do so without being talked into it. Since the retirements of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci the Bruins have been weakened up the middle significantly and it showed during the playoffs as the Bruins could barely score on average less than two goals a game.

In the meantime, Pastrnak can enjoy gold l he just won while watching the NHL playoffs rather than playing in them.
