Paulson Adebo suffered a frightful injury this past season for the New Orleans Saints. He suffered a broken femur on a play that was tough to watch for many.
The latest on the emerging cornerback is a good sign for his playing future, though.
Update on Paulson Adebo
The impending free agent cornerback shared a notable update via video on his social media this weekend.
After a major leg injury last season, Adebo can dunk a basketball already. That sort of athleticism proves how well his recovery has gone so far.
Earlier in February, Adebo showed off his growth on a treadmill during his rehab process. He's trending towards being able to be a full-go for whoever signs him this offseason, by the start of the season.
Adebo will be an important signing for whichever team takes a chance on him.
When at his best, Adebo played some Pro Bowl level football in New Orleans. Other times, he struggled with penalties and downfield completions. Overall, he has proven to be a capable cornerback at the pro level - with additional upside in the right system.
The Saints may try to bring him back, but the market is expected to be robust for Adebo. They very likely could get outbid for his services this offseason. Only time will tell.
If New Orleans doesn't bring him back, CB remains a major need this offseason.
