The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member is sharing exciting new details about her life as a single mom.
Phaedra Parks has two very special guys in her life right now — her 14-year-old son, Ayden Nida, and 11-year-old son, Dylan Nida. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member has so much to look forward to in her personal life as she watches her kids grow up and get ready for their next exciting chapters.
The lawyer and mortician recently spoke with The Daily Dish, where she exclusively opened up about her sons, their future careers, and how they could be following in her footsteps. "Well, Ayden wants to be a pilot or an investment banker, so that doesn't include the law, but I think the law degree just complements everything," she admitted.
"Maybe his younger brother will be the lawyer, you know, cause he's the shark, and he's got a quick tongue. Yeah, he would make a great lawyer," Phaedra said of Dylan.
Although both Ayden and Dylan, whom she shares with ex-husband, Apollo Nida, are young, they're not "too young to think about education," according to Phaedra. So, she hopes that they will be following in her footsteps by attending the University of Georgia at some point.
"I'm fourth generation University of Georgia, so we know he's going to the University of Georgia, but it might be for his law degree, or his master's, but that has to be in the equation," she said of Ayden. "My grandmother went there, my mom, my dad, my cousin. We are big Georgia, you know?"
Although she has a few more years until Ayden heads off to college, Phaedra told The Daily Dish that she isn't afraid of him leaving the house or afraid of becoming an empty-nester. "I love me, I enjoy my own company, but I love my kids as well," she admitted.
"Parenting is great, but it's very hard because it didn't come with a manual and children are so different," she continued. "None of them are the same, so him and his brother are polar opposites, so I will not be sad to have only one in the house."
According to Phaedra, she is "just having fun" with dating. "It's nothing so serious and I don't know if I'll ever be serious," she told E! News in January. "Maybe there's another man out there for me. I'm an equal opportunity employer."
Speaking of new chapters, find out what to expect for Phaedra's return to RHOA for Season 16.
