Postgame Handshake Between Kyler Murray, Brock Purdy Goes Viral

The San Francisco 49ers appeared to have control of the game until kicker Jake Moody exited with an apparent leg injury, throwing the team into disarray. Head coach Kyle Shanahan faced challenging decision-making without a kicker, leaving the door open for Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals.

Trailing 23-13 in the fourth quarter, the Cardinals mounted a drive that culminated in a touchdown and a successful two-point conversion, narrowing the gap to 23-21.

They capitalized on a subsequent turnover, driving into field goal range to take a 24-23 lead with just over a minute left, which then Arizona got the job done defensively to win the game and now both teams sit at 2-3 overall.

Postgame, both Murray and Brock Purdy had a brief interaction following a hard-fought matchup. The two young quarterbacks, who faced numerous highs and lows during the game, showed mutual respect for one another.
