Britain's Got Talent viewers were left confused following the first live semi-final of 2025 as Teddy Magic did not perform

Britain's Got Talent viewers have been left in the dark after Teddy Magic suddenly pulled out from the first live semi-final, sparking a flurry of tweets from bewildered fans wondering why the child magician wasn't on stage during the show's initial live final.
According to RadioTimes, sources say that an unforeseen hiccup with Teddy's act caused the last-minute withdrawal. The publication reassures: "However, the team is still hoping Teddy will perform at a later semi-final – so fans should hopefully see him return to the stage."
They added: "We will update you as soon as we know when Teddy will be making his comeback."

Eight-year-old Teddy Magic was slated to follow post-Heavysaurus, but hosts Ant and Dec revealed he "wasn't ready" to perform just yet, reports Wales Online.
The abrupt change caused concern among supporters over Teddy's welfare, even seemingly catching judge Simon Cowell off guard, who appeared visibly annoyed, according to audience members.
Ant stated: "Now Teddy isn't quite ready backstage yet, so we'll chat to you judges," with Dec announcing a "little change of plan".
Simon's response was curt as he queried, "Wait, so the act's not ready?" leading Ant to step in for the young magician: "He's only eight years old, so back off!"

As the show went on, it was confirmed by the hosts that Teddy Magic would not be taking the stage that night, but there were hopes for his return later in the series.
Teddy made a significant impact on the show during his first audition. He approached the judges carrying a bottle of fizzy orange soda and a bottle of Champagne, handing KSI the bubbly and asking Simon to give the fizzy orange drink a vigorous shake.
Once it stopped, Teddy declared: "Yes, I've got the fizz." He then asked Simon to open the bottle. Initially, Simon was wary about the drink splashing everywhere, but to his surprise, nothing happened.
Teddy left everyone stunned when he gestured towards the champagne bottle, causing it to overflow.
The spillage seemed relentless, causing Alesha to jump from her seat exclaiming: "Oh gosh. Make it stop Teddy" to which Teddy humorously replied: "I'm not wasting my magic on that."
He continued to impress with more magical tricks up his sleeve.
Britain's Got Talent is on ITV1 on Saturdays and on ITVX
