After over three decades together, fashion mogul Rachel Zoe has filed for divorce from her husband Rodger Berman. But rather than being a big blowup, their split is more of a fizzle, since they’ve been separated for over a year.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie filed in LA on July 21. She listed their date of separation as June 27, 2024.
Sadly, the stars of The Rachel Zoe Project had been married since 1998. They also share two sons: Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 10.

According to TMZ, Rachel cited “irreconcilable differences,” which is standard divorce-speak in California. The only other reason for a divorce under CA law is “insanity,” which rarely applies. Rachel also wants her legal last name restored to “Zoe,” rather than “Berman.”
In September 2024, the couple announced their separation in a joint statement via Instagram (see above). At that time, they seemed to be on good terms with each other with plans to co-parent their two boys.
Rodger and Rachel first met in 1991 as students at George Washington University. Rachel was just 20 years old. Following their marriage in 1998, the couple seemed perfectly partnered when they starred on Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project (2008-2013). They later appeared together for one season of Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe on Lifetime.
Currently, Rachel is filming on RHOBH Season 15. With the shocking exit of Garcelle Beauvais at the end of Season 14, Zoe will bring her fashion sense and her divorce drama into Beverly Hills. But will she really be able to fill Garcelle’s iconic shoes? Can’t wait to find out!
