Lisa Vanderpump addressed the rumor of Kyle Richards’ alleged “affair” with “young” Morgan Wade, and she seemed to suggest Kyle’s “hiding” something. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum also questioned if Kyle is being “ambiguous” about the relationship “for a reason,” and Lisa claimed she’s “not surprised.”
In last season’s reunion, Kyle said she didn’t “know” if she could see herself being with the country singer amid her separation from husband Mauricio Umansky. But castmates have suggested there’s something more to the friendship.
On the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Lisa was asked about the country singer.
“Oh Morgan — the young woman that [Kyle]’s having an affair with?” asked Lisa, via @facereality16 on Instagram. “Is she or not? I don’t know … I don’t care. Does anybody care, really?”
“You know what it is?” Lisa went on. “People aren’t interested in what you’re doing. They’re interested in what you’re hiding.”
She then speculated on what would happen if Kyle went public with the rumored romance.
“If she said, ‘Hey! I’m sleeping with this woman … people after three or four times would be like, ‘Shut up already. We don’t care.'”
“But if it’s ambiguous, then it’s like — but maybe she’s doing that for a reason,” she added. “Listen, I’m not surprised.”
In an April interview, Lisa seemed to suggest she knew about Mauricio’s alleged cheating. The alum didn’t name names, but she implied it was about a former castmate’s marriage.
After that interview, Kyle clapped back on her Amazon Live: “It’s so funny how Lisa loves to do this kind of jabs and then does the ‘I’m not saying.’ You know, this is always what she’s done … It’s very classic LVP and I’m actually happy to talk about her backyard too. I’d love to talk about that.”
“So if she wants to talk like that, then I’d be happy to get into it with her about her side of the street,” Kyle went on, “but I don’t think she wants that … She just [says these things] to be really mean … Then she goes on to say ‘I’m not saying who I’m talking about, I would never do such a thing.’ This is always what she does … It’s just so classic her … She never changes or grows or learns.”
