RHOBH Star Bozoma Saint John Shares Update Days After Losing Her Home to Palisades Fire

On January 12, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star posted to her Instagram stories to thank fans for their support as she deals with the devastating loss of her Malibu home. She also asked for continued prayers for her and her teen daughter, Lael.

“I’ve been getting so many messages of comfort, I can’t thank you enough,” Saint John wrote to fans. “This has been an incredibly difficult time to navigate. And yes, I know I’m resilient and been through a lot but this loss has certainly knocked me on my [expletive]. Please continue to pray for Lael and I. Thank you.”

Saint John also noted that she was confused by the “people hugging” emoji that many fans sent to her. “I didn’t know that this emoji was a hug,” she admitted. “I honestly thought it was an old movie camera. Whew. There’s some humor in all of this darkness.”

Bozoma Saint John Had ‘Prayed’ For the House She Lost

Saint John first shared the news of her loss in a January 9 post to Instagram. In a heartbreaking post, the former Netflix CMO confirmed that she was one of thousands of Californians who lost homes amid the devastating wildfires that raged across Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

 Saint John shared photos of her gorgeous Malibu home, then captioned it with an emotional message. “This is the house I wanted,” she wrote. “The house I prayed for. The house I worked in blood, sweat and tears for.”

“It is gone,” the RHOBH season 14 newcomer wrote further down in her message.

Saint John received support from thousands of fans and friends, including several of her RHOBH co-stars.

“I AM SO SORRY MY FRIEND. My heart is absolutely broken for you, Lael and the entire family. 😢😢😢😔😔😔💔💔💔💔,” wrote RHOBH star Dorit Kemsley.

“I am so sorry. Beyond devastating,” added co-star Sutton Stracke.

Bozoma Saint John Bought her Home in 2021

Saint John purchased the 2,501-square-foot Malibu beach house for $5.2 million in 2021, according to Traded.

A listing posted by Redfin described the property as a “multi-level beachfront residence” that “commands sunrise-to-sunset ocean and island views and a sweeping panorama of the sparkling lights known as the Queen’s Necklace.”

The three-level, 4-bedroom home featured plank and beam wood ceilings, as seen in Saint John’s photos, as well as “42 feet of beach frontage with direct access,” per the listing.

Amenities included three fireplaces, built-in shelving, a spa tub, a steam shower, sauna, and a spacious wraparound view balcony.

Saint John previously told Los Angeles Magazine that her home was located a “stone’s throw” from the famous Malibu Pier.
