RHOC fans criticize Alexis's statements about involvement with Jim's lawsuit against Shannon and Tamra

The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC) season 18 saw Shannon reveal Alexis's involvement with the lawsuit her ex-husband filed against her in 2018. In episode 14, Shannon Beador showed Gina Kirschenheiter a text message she found in her phone that Alexis Bellino sent her in 2018.

The text message stated that she and her then-husband, Jim Bellino had "engaged an attorney." The text stated the two were set on suing Shannon and Tamra for their statements about the former couple's divorce. Alexis took to social media to put out a statement countering Shannon's statement made during the episode, saying she was "not a liar." She said that a text was not a "legal document."

Fans of RHOC chimed in on Alexis's response online and thought she was trying to save herself with a technicality. One person wrote on X:

"Twist it whatever way you want Alexis, truth is you said you had nothing to do with the lawsuit but the texts proves you did…semantics!"

"Doesn’t sound like she was trying to stop anything. She was very clear that “They hired an attorney and will be suing”. Not too sure what else there is to discuss," a fan commented.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 fans said they didn't believe Alexis Bellino:

The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC) star Alexis Bellino recently took to social media to respond to Shannon Beador's claims. In an episode of the Bravo show, Shannon showed Gina a text message from Alexis dated June 27, 2018.

In the text message, Alexis stated that everything Shannon and Tamra Judge had said in the media since Alexis and Jim's divorce were "lies." She added that they were going to sue The Real Housewives of Orange County cast members for "slander and defamation."

In Alexis's Instagram post, uploaded on October 18, 2024, she explained her point of view. She wrote she was not a liar and remembered sending the text message. The RHOC season 18 star stated that a text message was "not a legal document," but the original accusation.

Alexis explained that the text did not "get the ball rolling" but was her attempt to "stop the ball from rolling." The RHOC cast member stated she sent the message at Jim's request to get Tamra and Shannon to "stop attacking" their family. She said her family was in "shambles" and her kids were "broken" at the time.

"I never supported Jim suing them and once he began moving forward with the lawsuit, I told him I will neither condone or support it," Alexis wrote.

The Bravo celebrity said she was "never" a part of the lawsuit and urged fans to tune in to the RHOC season 18 reunion as she would reveal "further evidence." She also stated Tamra Judge had apologized to her since the "2018 debacle."
