After a tumultuous few months of filming with furious on-set stormouts and mid-season quitting amongst the cast, at least one star is most likely done with the Bravo series
Due to the tension and reality TV “not being right for her,” it appears unlikely the Bravo-lebrity will return to season 19 next year.
Production of RHOC’s season 19 has been rattled with issues, including star Tamra Judge, 57, quitting the show - then rejoining - mid season.
The drama didn’t stop there, as an insider told The U.S. Sun that Katie Ginella has had a rocky experience with her sophomore season.
The source confirmed that Katie had not been filming most of the cast events in the latter half of the season.
She was also not present on the cast trip to Amsterdam that was filmed at the beginning of May.
“Reality TV doesn't seem to be for her, but she has been trying and has amazing qualities too, so I don't know if she's done for good or not.
“I would assume she won't come back next season and the decision will either be mutual or coming from the producers,” the source claimed.
The sudden departure from filming is a result of an alleged feud that has been brewing all season between Katie and longtime star, Emily Simpson, as well as returning fan-favorite Gretchen Rossi.
Photos that leaked of filming this season show the ladies on a boat ride in Amsterdam as well as walking around the Dutch streets however, Katie cannot be seen in the footage.
This marks Katie’s second season after also having a bumpy ride for her Bravo debut last year - where she frequently butted heads with powerhouse Heather Dubrow.
ROSSI'S RETURN
Gretchen, 46, made a splash as the beautiful young blonde when she first joined the series in season four in 2009 and remained on the show for four years before exiting in 2013.
Following a long hiatus, she made shockwaves across the Bravo-verse when it was announced she was coming back to RHOC this season, alongside Katie, Heather, Emily and Tamra - as well as returning stars Shannon Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter and Jennifer Pedranti.
Katie apparently isn’t the only person Gretchen hasn’t gotten along with this season, as The U.S. Sun previously revealed that she also got into a heated fight with former nemesis Tamra.
In March, the ladies headed down to New Orleans for a domestic cast trip, which Katie was a part of.
Additional photos leaked of the cast filming in the streets of New Orleans - including a tense scene where Tamra was having a heavy conversation with Shannon and Gretchen.
Just a couple hours after those pictures surfaced online, Tamra rashly posted on her Instagram Stories that she was “out” and done with the show forever.
Fans were shocked by the abrupt announcement - though many were skeptical if she was actually done with TV or if this was a ploy for ratings.
A source close to production provided more context, and told The U.S. Sun: "Tamra quit in the middle of the New Orleans trip with the girls.
“It was just after filming an emotional scene that turned into a heated discussion and then a shouting match with Gretchen and Shannon.
“Ultimately, Tamra can dish it but she can't take it which longtime viewers well know.
“She's overreacting and throwing a tantrum like a child because she isn't getting her way.”
The insider claimed that “nothing big enough to quit actually happened” however, a separate source explained that Tamra was acting out due to processing the grief of best friend Teddi Mellencamp's heartbreaking cancer diagnosis.
Tamra continues to stand by Teddi's side as her friend battles brain tumors, and the former RHOBH star has been keeping fans updated with her health journey on social media.
ORANGE YOU GLAD I'M BACK?
Tamra and Gretchen have had a rocky history - which dates back to 2008 when Gretchen first appeared on RHOC during season four.
The two butted heads all season but their tension came to an ultimate head when Tamra vowed to get a then-engaged Gretchen “naked wasted” around her son, Ryan.
The scene has remained a dark cloud in the RHOC franchise and has recently resurfaced - leaving fans enraged with Tamra’s behavior.
It's unclear where Tamra and Gretchen's relationship stands today.
