Gia Giudice recently shared a concerning health issue with her followers. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was transparent on the issue during a TikTok, which went through a typical day with Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter.
It’s admirable for Gia to be so vulnerable in order to get awareness out to fans. As ever in these situations with a celebrity, it’s up to them whether to share that aspect of their lives. After sharing the facts of the situation with fans, she advised them to check their bodies.
Gia Giudice gave advice to followers and RHONJ fans after health scare
Gia shared the health scare on a TikTok video on March 12. The reality TV star turned influencer found a lump in her armpit.
“Waking up this morning, I knew today was going to be a lot,” she said in the video. “Last night I found a little lump right below my left armpit but I just woke up and did my normal routine like any other day. I always have to keep going otherwise I will drive myself insane.”
Gia made sure to stick her her morning routine in order to keep her mind calm. That included doing her skincare routine, making the bed, and going to a morning Pilates class. She then went for routine bloodwork. But to check in on the lump, the RHONJ star had to get an ultrasound.
“From the doctor’s observation, they think it’s a lipoma,” she explained.
The good news is that the Mayo Clinic defines lipoma as noncancerous. It is a harmless fatty lump beneath the skin.
Despite confirming the benign nature of the lump, Gia admitted the testing process was “very overwhelming.”
“I’m so scared and just seeing other patients in the waiting room and what other people are going through just got me so upset,” she explained.
A quick bite with her cousins afterward made Gia “feel a lot better.” Gia’s boyfriend, Christian Carmichael, then stepped up to treat her to pizza for dinner.
“I eat when I’m sad,” Gia shared.
After finishing documenting her day, the influencer suggested followers “always check in with yourself and your body.”
