RHONY Star Admits She Doesn’t Think Full Cast Will Return for Season 16

Racquel Chevremont is expecting changes for “The Real Housewives of New York City” cast for season 16. In a March 2025 interview with E! News, the season 15 newcomer admitted she doesn’t think all of last season’s cast would be back following that dark season 15 finale left some cast friendships broken.

“I don’t think so,” Chevremont said when asked if everyone will return next season. “If I had to guess, I’d say probably not everyone.”

“We already lost Rebecca [Minkoff], so we definitely have one more,” she added.

In addition to Chevremont, the 15th season of RHONY starred Brynn Whitfield, Ubah Hassan, Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, and Jenna Lyons. Minkoff, who appeared as a “friend” of the cast, posted to Instagram in February to confirm that she would not be returning to the show after just one season.

In the interview, Chevermont said the RHONY cast is “waiting to find out” their statuses on the show after last year’s rocky ending. “I want all the women to return, I love them all,” she added. “I think they were super respectful and we’re just chill women trying to do our thing.”

In a separate interview, Chevremont told Us Weekly she really has ”no clue” about what’s happening with season 16. “We just wait and see. I’ll find out probably around the same time you do,” she told the outlet. “I would love to be filming with all the ladies, but I’m closest probably to Erin and Sai and Jenna. I would love to see them again.”

Chevremont noted to E! News that she is also down for new women to join the cast alongside the season 15 returnees. While the full cast has not yet been set, Chevremont teased that filming for season 16 would likely start “soon.”

Andy Cohen Agreed That Everyone May Not Be Back

Chevremont’s comments about the cast are in line with past remarks Andy Cohen made about season 16.

On the March 26 episode of his Sirius XM show, “Andy Cohen Live,” the Bravo producer admitted that he couldn’t reveal how many of the “Real Housewives of New York City” cast members will be coming back the next season because the powers-that-be “haven’t fully decided yet.”

When asked by guest Mariah Smith if there was a chance that “not all” of the women would return, Cohen confirmed, “Yes.”

The buzz about the fate of “The Real Housewives of New Yok City” continues to swirl. In January, a casting announcement posted on Shed Media’s Instagram page teased the search for potential newcomers for the Big Apple-based reality show next season.
