During an April 2025 appearance on the “Trading Secrets” podcast, the Bravo TV personality hinted she didn’t make much money during her first two seasons on the reality show. “No, it’s grocery money. It’s my DoorDash money,” Whitfield, 39, cracked to host Jason Tartick. “I spend more on DoorDash per week than what I made per season.”

Whitfield later noted she spends between $2,000 to $3,000 a week on DoorDash deliveries and takeout.

The salaries for ‘Real Housewives” stars are kept under wraps by Bravo.  Former franchise star Bethenny Frankel once claimed she was paid only $7,250 for the first season of RHONY back in 2008, according to Cosmopolitan.

Brynn Whitfield Explained How She Really Makes Money

Whitfield’s Bravo salary is not her main source of income. “You have to make some figures [to] live in New York,” the RHONY star explained of why she works multiple jobs.

For most of the year, she earns big bucks as a brand marketing consultant. “I make as much as a lawyer does per hour as a consultant,” she told Tartick of her $600 hourly fee.

“Basically, [clients] call me for advice or to work on a deck or create a campaign idea, and they pay me very well for it,” she explained. “The value they’re getting me is like 60 minutes of me on Adderall and just like Don Drapering the [expletive] out of them. … Like, literally, 60 minutes of me at my best and just like, taglines, creative ideas, something for the ad campaign.”

Brynn Whitfield Previously Talked About her ‘9 to 5′ Job

RHONY fans—and Whitfield’s co-stars—have been confused as to how she has so much money. In an interview with BravoTV.com, she shared details on her day job, which starts out with her going on Slack and sending emails. She also noted that her main job is not like the jobs of her co-stars Ubah Hassan, Sai De Silva, and Jenna Lyons

“There’s not anything glamorous about being a consultant,” Whitfield admitted. “I’ve not [done] anything, like, glamorous. I’m not like, starting an alcohol brand, or I don’t work in fashion, or things. So, I’m not like a street influencer. So I don’t have anything visual to show.”

“Like most Americans, it’s just more like 9 to 5. I sit in front of a desk and count the time until I can go get coffee or go to lunch, you know?” the RHONY star explained.
