Angie Katsanevas appeared on Wednesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she reacted to Seth Marks calling Whitney Rose a “biatch” on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
As she also spoke of potential tension between Bronwyn Newport, 39, and Todd Bradley, 65, revealed why Todd didn’t want to drink Lisa Barlow‘s tequila, and reacted to Lisa, 49, refusing to defend Bronwyn, Angie, 50, explained why Shawn Trujillo commented on Brooks Marks, 25, and shared why Lisa was blamed for the cast’s call to Heather Gay, 50, even though Meredith Marks, 52, instigated it.
On the November 13 episode of WWHL, Angie was asked if Seth yelling “proof bi-otch” was rude or funny.
“Rude,” she replied.
Then, when asked if there was tension between Bronwyn and Todd, as Meredith suspected, Angie noted, “That’s just their relationship.”
“Now that I’m around them more … I think they’re both very sarcastic. I think they love each other a lot, it’s just how they communicate, and there’s a lot of funny jabs, but that’s their relationship. But I think they truly love each other,” she reasoned.
As for her reaction to Todd telling Bronwyn he wanted to kick Lisa out of Palm Springs if she couldn’t calm down, Angie admitted she was “not really surprised.”
“I love Todd. I’ve gotten to know him. He’s very no-nonsense,” she explained.
Todd was also very no-nonsense when it came to shading Lisa’s tequila. However, as Angie noted, he may have had ulterior motives for suggesting he didn’t like it.
“Todd, well, Todd’s just very honest about his feelings, and it is what it is. He has a friend in the tequila business, and when she wasn’t looking, he was drinking that tequila shot,” she revealed.
Looking back at the moment in which Bronwyn confronted Lisa about not defending her against Heather’s claims that she’s two-faced and villainous, Angie said she was “shocked” because she thought they were “very close friends.”
“I think when a friend is coming into the group, it feels nice to have support from the friend that brought you in, so I was surprised,” she shared.
Regarding Lisa’s coach meltdown, Angie said she’d never throw a fit about flying coach.
“No, hell no,” she declared.
After then noting that Meredith has a bigger problem with her than Whitney, 38, Angie was questioned about why it seemed to be okay for Shawn to say Meredith uses her son, but it wasn’t okay when Lisa said she used her daughter to get off the phone.
“I think Shawn was asked a question by a podcaster, and the man, who was actually in the LGBT community, suggested in the podcast, which wasn’t shared, that Meredith was using Brooks as a defense,” she noted. “Shawn did not bring this up, he responded to a question he was asked on a podcast and just said basically, ‘Yeah, it did kind of feel like that.’ And along with Shawn and I, multiple friends in the LGBTQ community felt the same way. So the fact that she went on and made that statement showed me that she felt she had to. She did a whole performative little skit, and she obviously felt she had to address it.”
Also on the live broadcast, after denying that Whitney Rose was the problem between Lisa and Bronwyn, noting that “everyone has their own issues,” Angie explained why Lisa took the blame for the cast’s check-in with Heather in Palm Springs.
“Lisa was holding the phone when Bronwyn walked out. That’s how it looked, and Bronwyn walked out, and that was her perception, and she saw what she saw,” she shared.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Angie was asked if Bronwyn should have sucked up her pride and invited Heather and Britani to Palm Springs.
“Heather, yes, Britani, I mean, she called her a gold digger, but I think her and Heather are going to be friends one day. They will be friends one day, so Heather, yes, Britani, that was kind of a probably not,” she replied.
