And – perhaps unsurprisingly – it all goes so well Simon ends up receiving his very own Golden Buzzer.

The fun begins when a magic act called The Hacker calls him on stage, saying: “It’s time for the judge to be judged.”

Simon is then led through a mind-bending array of magic tricks.

Amanda Holden declares Simon “has potential”.

The Hacker – sat in Simon’s usual seat – triggers a shower of confetti by awarding Simon with the Golden Buzzer.

Simon tells hosts Ant and Dec: “I’ve decided to double the prize fund!”

Well, he is the boss after all.

Simon also recently revealed his son Eric's secret musical talent, so maybe he'll be appearing on the BGT stage as well.

He shared: "My son has just taken up drums."

Elsewhere, Simon previously revealed the real reason behind why he's a "soft touch" after changing his Britain's Got Talent persona.
