Offseason endeavors are always fun for fans to see via social media. For a quarterback trying to earn a starting role, spending time with one of the most talented QBs in league history is a great decision.
That's exactly what Rattler did recently with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Rattler posted about it on his Instagram story recently, clearing excited to get the opportunity with the future Hall of Fame QB.
They were together at the Vegas Golf Classic during the middle of last week. Mahomes and his foundation hosted the event, which raises funds for youth-focused health, wellness, and educational initiatives.
This post is even more comical when you consider what some fans of Texas Tech said during Rattler's career. They felt like Rattler shared some traits similar to Mahomes' and even thought his face shared some similarities to Mahomes' throughout the years.
Even some draft analysts felt like Rattler had a gunslinger type of style that reminded them of Mahomes. Rattler is locked into a starting QB competition with Jake Haener and rookie Tyler Shough in New Orleans.
We will see if Mahomes handed down any meanfigul pieces of insight for him that help him improve and earn the job for Kellen Moore's offense.
