"I talked to DA already, and we're good." -- Marshon Lattimore
Lattimore went on to clarify that he never wanted to leave, and HC Dennis Allen never wanted that, either.
"We had a personal situation that we worked through, but it wasn't like I wanted to leave or he wanted me to leave." -- Lattimore
Allen was also happy to have a talent like Lattimore back on the field with the team. He understands his elite value to the defense.
The Saints CB said that he understands why he may be overlooked as a top cornerback around the NFL right now. It's because he's dealt with injuries over the past two seasons.

It's impressive to see his confidence after things have not gone Lattimore's way over the past couple of years. The injuries have kept him off the field, and that has frustrated him. Now, he is back to being healthy, and the Saints need production from him in 2024 if they want to reclaim the NFC South crown.
