Saints veteran shuts down major rumors surrounding his playing career going forward in New Orleans

Cameron Jordan shut down any sort of trade rumors this past week during a segment on the Up And Adams Show , with Kay Adams.

No trade for Cam Jordan

According to the veteran himself, he doesn't want to be traded from New Orleans. He wants to play out the rest of his career with the team who drafted him.

"I'm NOT asking for a trade anywhere.. I'm BLACK & GOLD forever."

-- Cameron Jordan

After a 2024 season where Jordan did consider trying to make his way out of New Orleans, this is a clear shift in his thinking.

Jordan admitted to thinking about pushing his way out from New Orleans earlier this season, amid the team's struggles and staff dismay. Ultimately, that did not occur, though, and Jordan seems focused on his future with the Saints.

Of course, the Saints could entertain a trade involving Jordan or attempt to release him later this offseason. They have plenty of work to do to navigate their salary cap situation in the coming months.

Retirement has also been a topic brought up by some folks around social media. Based on Jordan's comments after the season has concluded, the does not seem to be on the table, in his mind, quite yet.

While Jordan's play has seen some inconsistency in recent years, his loyalty remains strong to the Saints franchise.
