Sanya Richards-Ross' family just got bigger!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 40, welcomed her third child, a baby boy, with her husband Aaron Ross, announcing the news on Tuesday, July 1.
“He’s here!” she said in a video shared to her Instagram Stories.

In the sweet clip, her son, Aaron Jr. was smiling beside her in his mother’s hospital bed as she held onto the newborn. The baby, whose name has not yet been revealed, had his face covered with text that read, “He’s here!!!”
She tagged her husband in the post. At the top of the video was a black and white graphic reading, “I’m so happy”
The reality TV star shares two other sons, Asani, nearly 19 months, and Aaron, 7, with her husband.
On Sunday, Feb. 23, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her husband first announced they were expecting their third baby together in a joint post on Instagram. Richards-Ross shared photos of herself in a gold and black dress with a sheer opening to show off her growing baby bump. Her husband was dressed in an all-black suit with an ocelot stole on his shoulder.
The happy couple was celebrating the reality television star's upcoming 40th birthday, dressed in Coming to America-themed outfits, as she posed with a bright smile, holding her belly. In one photo, Richards-Ross is sitting on her husband's lap, as he holds onto her growing belly. In another, she's smiling brightly, as she holds up three fingers, signifying she's having her third child.
"40 + 1 😳🤰🏾💙💕 I knew this birthday would be special but this was A LOT more than I could have imagined," she wrote in her Instagram caption. "On this birthday and my 15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY… @rossboy31 and I will be adding one more little prince or princess to our crew. 💙💕"
"Im about to me a Mommi of THREEEEEE AHHHHHHH!!!!" she added.
Richards-Ross has been very vocal about her past struggles with pregnancy losses. The mother of three shared some raw moments from her heartbreaking pregnancy loss before welcoming her son Asani, during a 2023 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
"Everything was fine at my five-week checkup, but when I back to Dr. Jackie for my seven-week checkup, she told me that the baby wasn’t growing and it looked like it was no longer a viable pregnancy," she explained in a confessional.
Explaining that she planned a dilation and curettage (D&C) after a weekend in New York, she explained that she ended up having "the most traumatic miscarriage."
"I was rushed off in an ambulance to the hospital. I lost so much blood that I had to get a blood transfusion," she tearfully revealed. "Especially not having Ross there, being by myself, it was really, really hard."
