Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s twin daughters get glam for ‘Smash’ Broadway opening

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick were joined by two special guests during Thursday’s opening of “Smash” on Broadway: their twin daughters.

The famous couple posed for stylish snaps on the red carpet with their 15-year-olds, Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell.

For the special evening, the “Sex and the City” star looked chic in an all-black ensemble, featuring a lacy dress underneath her topcoat. As for Broderick, he donned a blue suit and paisley tie, finishing off the smart look with black-framed eyeglasses.

Tabitha Hodge complimented her father’s cool-toned color scheme with a green satin Reformation dress and blue topcoat. On the other hand, Marion Loretta matched her mom in a long lace-detailed dress paired with a tan wool coat.

The couple’s 22-year-old son, James Wilkie Broderick, who is launching his own acting career, did not join them at the event.

The actress, 60, also celebrated the opening of “Smash” by sharing a snap of the show’s lit-up sign via Instagram.

“Yes!!!! OPENING NIGHT!!!! Imperial Theatre,” the “Hocus Pocus” actress captioned the post, signing off with her signature “X,SJ.”

Parker and the “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” star made sure to support the show on its first night as they are close friends of Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, who composed some of the songs featured in “Smash.”

In a recent comment to People, Broderick revealed that, unlike James, one of his daughters is “repelled” by the idea of following in her parents’ careers.

“If you say, ‘What about you?’ She says ‘Nope, no absolutely not’,” he told the outlet, not specifying which of the twins is opposed to acting.

Both Parker and Broderick have stayed busy in 2025. Broderick guest-starred alongside James in a February episode of CBS’ “Elsbeth,” while the third season of Parker’s “And Just Like That” is slated to premiere on Max this summer.

The Hollywood couple will celebrate their 28th wedding anniversary next month.
