Scheana Shay Claims Jax Taylor Was “Caught” with a “Plate of Coke” amid Wedding to Brittany Cartwright, Reveals If Production Was “Supplying” It, Plus Pump Rules Alum Hints at Her Involvement in Drama on The Valley

Last year saw the premiere of The Valley, a spinoff of Jax’s former show Pump Rules. Scheana and the rest of the cast were also fired from Pump Rules last year, though reports hinted that she was filming in some capacity for the spinoff.

Jax recently revealed his addiction to cocaine and alcohol. His estranged wife Brittany, who he’s now divorcing, expressed doubt that he would stick to his sobriety.

On her Scheananigans podcast, Scheana reacted to Jax’s claim that viewers likely saw evidence of his addiction on the show.

“There were things that were caught,” recalled Scheana, via @breakingtherulespodclips on Instagram. “I think at their wedding there was a plate of coke that was just, like, on the table in his hotel room [while filming]. There are things that I saw…”

“It was never production supplying it or okay with it, I think they didn’t notice — [or] that [scene] would have never made it to air,” she continued. “But, I mean, it has to go through editing and so many people, but I just don’t think anyone was looking at the little plate on the table.”

According to Scheana, “everyone knew Jax did cocaine,” and it was “not a secret.” When asked if production knew, Scheana answered, “I feel like he definitely came out of the bathroom with white stuff on his nose every here and there, but they would have never supplied, supported, or anything like that.”

In an interview with ET, Scheana also claimed that the “timing” of Jax’s revelation is “interesting” given that the “new season is starting.”

“I was there for some of it,” she said. “So I know how things go. Brittany is one of my closest friends, and I know everything. I know that he’s put that family through a really tough time. I just hope on this journey to sobriety, he sticks with it and that Brittany and Cruz can just have some peace.”

But Scheana claimed that Jax always says he’s a “work in progress,” so for Scheana, it’s “hard to believe the boy who cried wolf.”

She was also asked about rumors that the original cast of Pump Rules will get a “mini-season” or “farewell special.”

“I hope something happens,” she said. “I don’t know what it is. We’re the last to find out.”

As for the upcoming season of The Valley, Scheana confirmed that she’s involved in some drama. “Yeah, I am in it … Things aren’t always gonna be sunshine and rainbows.”
