Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shay Reveals Husband Brock Davies Cheated on Her Amid Pregnancy
Scheana Shay and Brock Davies are mentioning it all.
The Vanderpump Rules alumni shared more details about Brock's affair, which Scheana revealed in her new memoir My Good Side happened when she was pregnant with their daughter Summer Moon, now 4, back in 2020.
"I minimized what it was," Brock told Scheana of his indiscretion on the July 25 episode of her podcast Scheananigans. "It was a sexual affair. There as no dating. There was no courting. It was just purely that: Meet up and then we had sex."
"It happened multiple times over a three-week span, and I felt horrible about it," he added. "I was like, 'This is not okay, not doing this.' And I pulled the pin and then I forgot about it."
As for trying to understand why he cheated on Scheana, Brock—who also has two children, Eli and Winter, who live with his ex-wife in his native Australia—connected it to his fear of having another child.
"I was scared of being a parent again," the 34-year-old explained. "I believed what I read. I believed I was a bad dad, I believed a lot of that stuff and I just used that as an easy way out. The reality is you just gotta do the work."
While Brock kept his affair a secret from the "Good As Gold" singer for nearly three years, he ultimately told her amid the media frenzy that surrounded Vanderpump Rules during Scandoval, explaining that he had gone to the gym before working up the courage to confess to Scheana.
"In this situation, I wrote it in a letter and tried to forget about it," Brock shared. "I believed I was never going to do it again and we could just move past this."
As for why he harbored the secret for so long, Brock said that he wasn't thinking about anyone but himself during that time.
"I was just protecting myself," he explained. "I was an absolute coward. That man was a coward. He wasn't thinking about protecting you, he was just thinking about protecting himself, saving his face."
The reality star also made sure to tell his wife how much he admires her for detailing such a difficult time in their lives publicly and took accountability for his actions.
"I'm proud of you for telling your story," he told her, "and I'm sorry for this being part of your story."

"I was not willing to face the music," Brock continued, "So, when you told me about that it, I said, 'I support you, and then I will read it once you have written your book, because I don't want to have any influence on it.' It's not about the book per se, I'd rather just talk about and take accountability for my actions that are in the book."
For Scheana's part, she ultimately decided to include the revelation of Brock's affair in her memoir because it wouldn't felt dishonest to not include such a seismic event while retelling her life's story.
"This story isn't a stunt," the 40-year-old explained. "It's not this thing to true to sell books. It's our real story....sharing this story when and how I did was about agency."
