TEEN Mom: The Next Chapter stars Cory Wharton and Taylor Selfridge's breakup didn't come as a surprise, as there were many signs the couple were headed for a split
Cory, 34, and Taylor, 30, are the parents to daughters Mila, 5, and Maya, nearly 3.
He is also dad to daughter Ryder, 8, from his past relationship with Cheyenne Floyd, as Taylor has a close relationship with her.
But after eight years together, The U.S. Sun exclusively confirmed they called it quits.
Before the breakup, the couple dropped hints that their love wasn't forever.
ROCKY ROAD
Cory and Taylor opened up about their relationship issues on Teen Mom: Family Reunion in 2024.
Cory admitted on the series that he cheated on Taylor.
He explained, "Taylor doesn’t trust me because I cheated on her five years ago and I regret it every day.
“I need to do the best I can do to make sure to rebuild that trust between me and Taylor because right now, it’s dragging us down like an anchor.”
But forgiving and forgetting wasn't easy for Taylor, as she said, "Cory just wants me to get over it because it happened so long ago... Yes, it happened five years ago, but I’m not over it yet and I feel like it’s something we haven’t worked through yet.
“I’m definitely still holding a grudge about it. I don’t forget. That’s the problem. I’ll always think there could be something. It’s hard when someone breaks your trust like that."

COMMITMENT ISSUES
While Taylor has been ready to be Cory's wife, especially after giving birth to their two children, he has been unable to commit.
She said on the MTV spinoff, "I just feel like it's taking too long at this point for me," she said on the spinoff. "We've been together six f**king years. If you love me that much, wouldn't you just do it?
"You know who I am, you know what I do, you know who I am as a mother.
"You know who I am to live with. You know who I am to have finances with. Everything but that."
She then said in her confessional, "If he can't commit to me then we can't be together because that is something I want. If he doesn't want to give it to me then I think that's a big problem."
Cory has even hit out at fans over social media, demanding they stop pressuring him to propose.
“If I hear one more person talk about the fact that Taylor and me aren’t married yet, listen, that’s not your business," he wrote on social media. "We are happy. We are fine. We are gonna get married."
EXPLOSIVE FIGHTS
The couple has also been caught on camera having explosive fights, as Taylor stormed out of the room in tears over the conversation.
On the premiere, Cory showed up to the home in Colombia drunk, leaving Taylor embarrassed.
Taylor expressed frustration over Cory's "acting up" in the scene.
She walked away in frustration and explained how Cory was still a party animal while she had changed her ways.
Cory's tantrum escalated in the couple's room, where Taylor was seen telling him to calm down.
The Teen Mom star then yelled at the show's cameras as he continuously shouted about how they were filming a TV show.
Taylor was visibly upset as she went into the bathroom to get away from Cory.
IT'S OVER
Teen Mom fans first suspected trouble when Cory and Taylor appeared to unfollow each other on Instagram.
Cory began posting cryptic song lyrics from Bali, where he is currently vacationing with The Challenge friend Nelson Thomas.
"I know the truth is you won't love me until I'm gone," he captioned a shirtless pic in front of a temple, quoting Drake's Emotionless.
Meanwhile, Taylor posted a selfie of her and daughter Maya sleeping on Snapchat.
Cory then went off on X, formerly known as Twitter, writing, "Like I've been saying ya don’t give a f**k about what’s going on you just want to see me fail, and NO I DIDN'T CHEAT DUMBA**, we were going through s**t WAY before this trip idiots," he fumed at fans."
Reps for the couple did not respond to The U.S. Sun's requests for comment.
The couple first met while filming Ex on the Beach in 2017.
