This week’s slow burn goes to Liam on The Bold and the Beautiful. He is on the slow road to recovery after he underwent an experimental procedure that has everyone questioning everything. At first, Liam was told that he had a mass in his brain that was incurable and inoperable. But he was given a new lease on life.
Miracle Surgery
Interestingly enough, the surgery went well. Liam (Scott Clifton) woke up afterward. He seems much like himself. B&B fans expected him to get a personality transplant. However, that didn’t happen. Grace (Cassandra Creech) claimed that the scan was clear. The mass was 100% removed from his brain. But it’s often hard to take a scan following surgery because there’s still fluid in the brain.
How is that possible? Was this a miracle in the making? Liam presumed he was going to die soon. He spent the past few months thinking about his impending death. But then he was gifted with the opportunity to live again. He had a change of heart after he narrowly escaped death from Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) gunshot.

Liam told Bill (Don Diamont) that he wanted to continue living. So, nosy Grace pulled Bill aside and informed him about the costly procedure that’s still new in the medical world. Bill didn’t care how much it cost. His son’s life was priceless, according to him. Bill thinks it was the best one million that he spent. But could he end up being wrong?
What Could Go Wrong?
Liam is currently getting his rest while staying at Bill’s. So far, his recovery has gone a little too smoothly. This could all change once Liam gets up from bed. He might learn that he’s paralyzed from the waist down.
It’s incredible to think that he had major brain surgery in just a few hours. It was the longest hours of Bill’s life. But it went by too quickly. Grace and her mysterious doctor might have done damage to Liam’s brain during surgery. She was the one who operated on him.

It’s likely that Liam will have some complications following surgery. There’s still something fishy about this situation, especially with Grace having flashbacks about receiving the one million dollars. She seems guilty about something, but what is it? We can’t wait to find out.
