Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has said that her boyfriend Joe Sugg is not 'bothered' by engagement rumours after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring
Strictly Come Dancing champion Dianne Buswell has dispelled speculation about being engaged to her boyfriend Joe Sugg, whom she partnered on the show in 2018.
In an interview with Heat Magazine, Dianne revealed that a recent misunderstanding about her relationship status arose due to the physical effects of long-haul air travel. On lengthy flights, low cabin humidity and prolonged periods of sitting still can cause swelling in the hands and feet.
This, in turn, led to Dianne moving a ring to her third finger, sparking engagement rumours. She clarified: "I had to put my ring on that finger because it was the only one that wasn't puffed up from flying to Australia. I even posed for pictures with it! I didn't realise it would make such a commotion."

Dianne's partner, YouTuber Joe Sugg, remained unfazed by the media attention, with Dianne stating: "Joe does not look at any stories like that. He's not bothered - it never affects him."
The dancer is now gearing up for her live show, Red Hot and Ready, alongside fellow Strictly professional Vito Coppola. "This dance show has been two years in the making," Dianne said.
"It's going to surprise a lot of people. There's things in there that you'd never see us do on Strictly, I'll put it that way! It's an emotional roller coaster. We want people to laugh and cry with us."

The professional dancer has certainly kept herself occupied with tour duties and other engagements. She recently made a trip back to her homeland of Australia to contribute to the children's series Bluey, where she created new "Bluey Dancealongs" for the programme's YouTube channel.
Within this role, she crafted and featured in five dance videos aimed at the animated show's youthful audience.
Dianne expressed great excitement about her involvement, commenting: "How cool that I got to go to Bluey's World in Australia to dance in Bluey's house with some incredibly talented kids dancing to some of Bluey's favourite tunes."

Peering into her future aspirations, Dianne revealed her eagerness to take part in BBC1's The Traitors.
As an avowed enthusiast of the show, Dianne confessed: "Every time I play Traitors at home I'm always voted out first."
She continued, explaining her predicament: "Everyone thinks that I am lying, and I'm just trying to help the team out. I'm very vocal, so I start to talk, and then they all think I'm being shady, so I always get voted out. So, I've decided not to play any more."
