Summer House Star Jesse Solomon Makes the Most Shocking Claim About Lexi Yet

The sparks between Jesse Solomon and Lexi Wood burned hot and fast on season 9 of “Summer House.” What started as a summer fling quickly turned into one of the season’s most talked-about relationships—and one of its most dramatic implosions. Long after filming wrapped, the story continues to evolve off-screen, with both stars speaking out and new claims stirring the pot.

Jesse Solomon Downplays His Relationship With Lexi Wood

Jesse Solomon, 31, made waves this week during an interview with New York journalist Adam Glyn while attending the NBCUniversal Upfronts. Solomon downplayed the entire romance when asked about his relationship with Lexi Wood, 27.

“Not my girl,” he said. “We were never really boyfriend/girlfriend… but yeah, I hope she’s doing great.”

The statement caught fans off guard, especially given what played out on “Summer House” just months ago. During the season, Solomon asked Wood to be exclusive, only for the relationship to spiral amid accusations of dishonesty and emotional distance.

Wood broke things off in a tense conversation that aired on the May 14 episode. “I just need to be with somebody that I can trust… without any doubt in my mind,” she told Solomon. Though he claimed things had been “getting better,” Wood made it clear she’d reached her limit, saying, “I’ve given you so many chances that I would not give anyone else.”

The breakup didn’t just end their summer romance—it also exposed major cracks in Solomon’s communication with his housemates, particularly surrounding his friendship with Ciara Miller. Solomon told the group that Lexi had a problem with Ciara, but Wood denied that outright, telling Kyle Cooke, “I never mentioned Ciara. I don’t care about Ciara.”

Wood Speaks Out and Doubles Down on Her Side

Lexi Wood hasn’t stayed silent in the wake of Solomon’s comments or the ongoing drama playing out on Bravo. In a recent “Chanel in the City” podcast interview, Wood said Solomon distorted the truth during filming, which made her feel isolated in the house.

“From what he was saying, it definitely made the situation and relationship seem really toxic,” she said. “It created a disconnect between me and the other women because he was gossiping about me.”

Wood believes her perspective was never fully shared with the group—or the audience. “There was a lot of context that would have made people kind of understand where I was coming from,” she explained. “So naturally it just created an isolation for me in the house.”

According to Wood, Solomon gave “about two percent of the truth” in conversations with other cast members, and that misrepresentation carried over into how viewers saw their relationship unfold.
