American Idol Finalist Breanna Mix Is The Sweetest Wife & Mama

American Idol finalist Breanna Nix is not only an incredible singer, but an incredibly devoted wife and mom to her sweet little boy.

Nix recently posted a video of herself singing a worship song with her husband, Austin, and her three-year-old son, Emerson.

The trio could be heard belting out “Give Me Jesus” in a beautiful melody in their little living room.

“Our living room has always been a place of worship,” Nix shared with her followers. “First it was just me and Austin…. now Emerson’s little voice has joined in.🥹🫶🏽”

The stay-at-home mom-turned-American Idol finalist has always been vocal about her faith, performing a number of Christian songs during her time on the show, including “In Jesus Name” by Katy Nichole.

“I pray this little one always keeps this heart of worship,♥️” she shared.

Nix Started Her Journey On Idol With A Faith-Based Song

Nix first won the hearts of the American Idol judges when she auditioned with a beautiful cover of Carrie Underwood‘s “Jesus, Take the Wheel.”

The singer came to her first audition with Austin and Emerson. The sweet little boy made his way to Underwood, who quickly picked him up and brought him to the judges’ table.

When Nix introduced herself as “just a stay-at-home mom,” Underwood said, “never say I’m just a stay-at-home mom…you have the most important job.”

Between Nix’s beautiful performance and seeing sleepy little Emerson, Underwood got choked up at the end of the song. With tears in her eyes, she asked Luke Bryan to speak first.

The Idol Finalist Encourages Other Moms To Dream Big

The Texas-native said she aims to encourage other stay-at-home moms to dream big, and know they can do whatever they put their mind to.

“It’s been awesome to know that I have, like, moms cheering me on and also at the same time encouraging them to chase their own dreams,” she said.

Nix said her time on Idol was for her son, and admitted that she pursued the entire experience for him.

“I am hoping that he’s learned he can do anything he wants,” Nix said of Emerson. “I want him to also see like how much I love him through this whole process, this is why I’ve done it for him an and my husband.”
