Tamra Judge called out Erika Jayne’s “nasty” dig about Garcelle Beauvais not being “interesting,” and she questioned if Garcelle quit the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because she “got heat,” as Dolores Catania reacted.
In a recent reunion episode, Erika said she wished Garcelle were more interesting. She also suggested that Garcelle shares little about her personal life, including who she’s dating. Other castmates hinted that Garcelle says unkind things while expecting her co-stars to back her up.
Her castmates also called out how Garcelle allegedly insinuated that PK Kemsley set up the gunpoint home invasion, which occurred while Dorit Kemsley was in the house. Garcelle suggested, however, that she didn’t believe that Dorit was aware. PK has denied this and hinted that Garcelle should find better ways to make money.
On her Two Ts in a Pod podcast, Tamra addressed Erika’s suggestion that Garcelle isn’t that interesting.
“That was a little nasty,” said Tamra. “That was a little stab in the ribs right there.”
Dolores, who is Tamra’s temporary co-host, added, “And it’s the kiss of death for a Housewife.” Dolores also pointed out that Housewives don’t need to have death, divorce, or “something traumatizing” in their lives for a storyline.
Tamra expressed, “Erika, I love you so much, but for her to say we want to see Garcelle and Sutton dating when we don’t see [Erika] dating!”
Dolores called it the “world of double standards.”
At one point in the episode, Tamra questioned why Garcelle quit, saying, “Do you think she went into this knowing that this was gonna be her last [reunion] — or do you think she got heat and she’s like, ‘I’m done?'”
Dolores answered, “Garcelle was warned a long time ago [that] only being friends with Sutton and constantly sticking up for her … is a liability. [Garcelle] realized that now there’s nobody left.”
Tamra speculated that Garcelle decided to be “done” when it stopped being “fun.”
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills air Tuesday nights on Bravo.
