Former Teen Mom star David Eason’s girlfriend, Kenleigh Heatwole, is defending his “sick” animal murders and the actions that followed.
He killed the family dog in 2019, which led to him and his estranged wife, Jenelle Evans, being let go by MTV. Then, he followed that up with more atrocious acts. So, what is Kenleigh saying about David? Keep reading for further details.
David Eason’s GF Defends ‘Sick’ Animal Murders
Jenelle Evans had two children before she met David Eason. The two went on to welcome a daughter, Ensley, and tie the knot. All of this played out on Teen Mom, and Jenelle seemed happy, but in 2019, David took the family dog, Nugget, outside and shot him. This was a major turning point for the couple as Jenelle took her kids and left. Yet, she came back and defended David, but it was too late. His behavior ultimately led to them being fired from MTV. When she left him in 2024, Jenelle was rehired by MTV but let go after one season.
Jenelle began dating her manager, August Keen, while David found love with Kenleigh Heatwole. She was by his side when he attempted to break into Jenelle’s home without consent. Now, Kenleigh is defending David’s “sick” animal murders. It was not just Nugget, and another family dog, but also the kids’ pet goats. He allegedly would kill and then eat the goats in front of the children, which was twisted. After someone pointed this out, Kenleigh quickly clapped back, noting everyone eats animals and that the industry is cruel. If everyone saw how the sausage was made, they would likely not care that he ate the goats.
No one cared for Kenleigh attempting to defend David Eason and his horrid behavior. Teen Mom fans felt she had not seen the real truth and needed a wake-up call. One person shared this:

After seeing how Kenleigh Heatwole responded to David Eason’s allegations, Teen Mom fans struggled. Initially, they believed that she was just “young & dumb.” That was why she was with someone like David, with his behavior. Yet, now they have moved beyond her naivety and think she is a flat-out idiot. There is no defense for what he has done and continues to do, so followers wanted to make that clear:
