Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans ended her second marriage with a party at a strip club last week.
Before the party, held last Friday (June 12) at Spearmint Rhino, Evans appeared on Hot 97, where she told host DJ Drewski about preparing to divorce her husband of seven years, David Eason. The estranged spouses share an 8-year-old daughter, Ensley Jolie, while Evans has two older sons from previous relationships. Evans was married to her first husband, Courtland Rogers, from 2012 to 2014.
On the radio program, Evans said that her "breaking point" with Eason stemmed from "infidelity" and her husband "not taking care of his family." "I feel like everything was on my shoulders. Like the mortgage payments, taking care of the kids–I feel like I had no help," she said.
Evans added that towards the end of the relationship, the couple was "separate" so often that they felt like "roommates."
"I just can't go back from everything I went through," she said. "The toxicity, the anger, the anxiety of it all."
Last March, the reality television personality announced that she filed for separation in a cheeky TikTok, with a second video showing her detailing North Carolina's "particular" divorce law of a one-year separation.
