TEEN Mom star Ryan Edwards has begged a judge not to force him to expose his MTV contract and NDA in his nasty divorce.

Earlier this month, Ryan demanded the court adjust their child support agreement because he is no longer employed with MTV.

Now, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal Ryan filed a Motion for a Protective Order to beg the judge to allow him to keep details of his MTV contract sealed.

The court papers read, “Defendant has previously been under contract with a certain media corporation for his appearance on a certain television show.

“Part of this contract includes a nondisclosure clause and hefty financial penalty for violating the nondisclosure.

“Therefore, Defendant by contract is prohibited from providing said contract without violating the agreement.

"Production of this contract would not only be a breach of contract but would potentially jeopardize Defendants appearance on future television shows with this media company or its subsidiaries.”

Ryan explained how he has already provided his proof of earnings in court papers.

The judge on the case has not ruled on the request.

CHILD SUPPORT WAR

The U.S. Sun previously reported Ryan requested the court adjust their child support agreement, as he claims he is no longer employed with MTV.

Teen Mom star reveals show is officially ‘canceled’ then deletes buried comment after months of rumors-

Ryan shares children Jagger, 6, and Stella, 4, with Mackenzie.

The Motion to Modify Temporary Child Support read, "This Court entered an Order Setting Temporary Child Support on or about February 11, 2025.

"Said order was based upon Defendant's income at the time ($13,333 per month) which included his earnings from his appearances on a certain television series."

Ryan continued of his involvement on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, "Defendant is no longer earning income through that series, through no fault of his own."

This seemingly confirms rumors the show has been canceled.

He then revealed his only current income is through his full time employment at a truck and trailer repair shop, where he makes 27 dollars an hour.

The court papers continued, "Defendant is unable to continue to pay support in accordance with the October 2024 Order and requests that this court enter an Order Modifying Support until the final hearing in this matter."

Ryan claims he now makes $4,282 a month and sees the kids just 26 days of the year.

He believes Mackenzie’s income is $4,166.

RYAN AND MACKENZIE'S COURT WAR

Mackenzie and Ryan have been at war over child support for their two children.

In October, Mackenzie requested child support from Ryan, claiming he “refused” to pay.

In court papers obtained by The U.S. Sun, Ryan filed financial information ahead of their hearing and listed his monthly income as $16,010 a month.

In Mackenzie’s child support petition, she stated that Ryan is employed and has income from MTV’s Teen Mom.

“Because mother has physical custody of the parties’ two children and father is gainfully employed, the Court should order child support to be paid by Father to Mother during the pendency of this case, and at the final hearing said child support obligation be made permanent," court papers read.

Mackenzie asked the court to set current child support and retroactive child support back to the date of separation.

In a separate court filing, Ryan was asked to provide “each and every checking account” maintained by him in the last three years.

One checking account in his sole name had a balance of $2,200 as of September 2024.

In another account, there is a balance of just $57.47 as of September 2024.

When asked to disclose savings accounts and retirement plans, Ryan responded, “none.”

In regard to debt, Ryan listed Capital One credit cards totaling $18,000.

Ryan was ordered to pay temporary child support in the amount of $1,553 per month for their two children in February.

IT'S OVER

Mackenzie filed for divorce in February 2023 after accusing him of abuse.

She then filed an Order of Protection in March 2023.

The order asked Ryan to have no contact and stay away from her.

Mackenzie requested she be granted temporary custody of her children, and for Ryan to pay child and spousal support.

Ryan told The U.S. Sun at the time of the abuse allegations, "I don't speak for her. I never wanted to hurt her, just tried telling her I would have loved to work on it because I still at the time wanted to."

The Order of Protection was dropped at a July 14, 2023 court hearing to allow Ryan to speak with their children through her.

CUSTODY BATTLE

Mackenzie and Ryan's divorce was dismissed in February 2024 because there were no filings for 270 days.

Ryan later filed a new complaint for divorce on March 6, 2024, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Ryan requested split custody of their children, in court papers obtained by The U.S. Sun

The MTV star requested he be the "designated primary residential parent" and "that child support be assigned from [Mackenzie's] income."

Mackenzie never responded to the filing and the case was consolidated with the original divorce.

RYAN'S LEGAL TROUBLES

Ryan has been sober for two years after a relapse and legal troubles.

He was sentenced to nearly one year in Silverdale Detention Center in April 2023 after Ryan was arrested for drinking under the influence, harassment, and drug possession charges.

He was released from prison in July 2023 and entered Cadas Rehab in Chattanooga, Tennessee to complete a 28-day program.

After completing the program, he was ordered to the Oasis halfway house, located on the same property as Cadas, during a court hearing in August 2023.

Ryan was then arrested in December 2023 for not following the terms of his probation.

He was released weeks later and has stayed out of trouble.

RYAN EDWARDS' RELATIONSHIP STRUGGLES

Ryan Edwards and his estranged wife, Mackenzie, have also been in court over their divorce and custody of their kids:

Ryan is battling Mackenzie, 28, while trying to divorce her.

Mackenzie filed for divorce from her husband in February 2023 after getting married in 2017.

The U.S. Sun previously reported the divorce was dismissed in February 2024, because there were no filings in the case for 270 days.

Ryan then filed his own divorce case against his estranged wife.

According to a Tennessee court docket viewed by The U.S. Sun, Ryan filed for “divorce with minor child” in early March.

He also filed a permanent proposed parenting plan.

Ryan requested to be the "designated the primary residential parent" of their two children and "that child support be assigned from Mackenzie's income."

The U.S. Sun also reported Mackenzie filed an order of protection against Ryan on March 28, 2023.

The order asked Ryan to have no contact and stay away from her.

In early April 2024, a hearing took place and both parties agreed to a mutual restraining order.

RYAN'S REDEMPTION

Ryan's storyline on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter focused on his relationship with his 16-year-old son Bentley with his ex-fiancée Maci Bookout.

He began dating now-fiancee Amanda Conner after meeting at rehab in the summer of 2023.

Ryan and Amanda welcomed their daughter, Presley Sage Eliana Edwards, in February.

A judge ruled Amanda is allowed to attend visitation at Ryan's mother Jen's home with Jagger and Stella.
