Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil holds second annual youth football camp

The Houston Texans do so much for the community and the fans during the off-season and even in-season. Recently, superstar left tackle Laremy Tunsil held his second annual youth football camp to help the younger kids in the community learn more about the game they love.

“This week is incredibly important to me,” Tunsil said to KCPR2.

The Texans have one of the best, if not the best left tackle in the league in Tunsil. So, who better for the kids to learn from than him?

Unfortunately, there are players in the league that do these offseason activities to make their image look better. There aren't many, but they are out there. You can certainly tell that Tunsil is not one of them, as he genuinely loves helping the community and helping the youth.

“Some of these young kids you might see in the NFL one day,” said Laolu Sanni, Tunsil’s business manager and friend. “It went well so far. LT always has his mission of giving back to the community. It’s a good tie for these kids with a Pro Bowl athlete to drop gems, life lessons and enjoy ourselves. It’s an exciting season. He’s locked in. He’s Super Bowl-ready. He’s focused and trying to have the best season of his career. The whole city is excited. The whole Divine Tree is excited. It’s going to be a special season for the whole city.”

You love to see players doing good for their community, and growing the game of football to the youth.
