The 2025 Nurses Ball came to an end after an explosive secret, a destroyed violin, and a return that rocked the ballroom on the May 23, 2025 episode of General Hospital.
A New Son
After Gio’s (Giovanni Mazza) big reveal, he stormed off the Nurses Ball stage, leaving the broken pieces of his violin and a shocked new family in the audience. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) ran off while Cody (Josh Kelly) pulled Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) aside and Gio’s newfound grandparents, Sonny (Maurice Benard), Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), and Ned (Wally Kurth), all commiserated. They know Lois (Rena Sofer) must have the answers they’re seeking, wherever she is after she ran out of the ball.
After Cody finally told Dante the truth about his role in Brook Lynn’s summer pregnancy, Dante was left shocked that the little boy he watched grow up in Bensonhurst was his own son. Meanwhile, Brook Lynn and Gio were never seen again throughout the rest of the episode.
Crashin’ The Ball
As the ball came to a close, Port Charles’ next generation took the stage for the final performance. Donna (Scarlett Spears), Wiley (Viron Weaver), Georgie (Lily Fisher), Scout (Cosette Abinante), and James (Gary James Fuller) sang “I’ll Be There,” and just as the applause began, Wiley shouted, “Daddy!”
Shock filled the room as Michael (Rory Gibson, who takes on the role after Chad Duell’s departure) walked in. He picked up his son, shot Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) a look, and told Wiley it was time to go.
