Carl Radke Gets Real About His Reunion with Lindsay Hubbard: "Epic Fight"
Although he was admittedly “surprised” by Lindsay Hubbard’s pregnancy news, Carl Radke said it gave him much-needed "closure.”
He addressed the subject during a recent Q&A with People magazine, roughly a year and a half after he called off his engagement to Lindsay. The two officially reunited in Summer House Season 9, Episode 2, just a day after Lindsay told the rest of the cast she and her boyfriend were expecting their first baby.
Carl said it took a little time to "process” the information, but was so happy for Lindsay and her new chapter.The Summer House cast member teased a tense "back and forth" between him and his ex-fiancée.
Carl says seeing his ex-fiancée, Lindsay, was "good and healthy"
“I had a friend tell me, he’s like, ‘Dude, this is great closure,’” Carl recalled. “And I agreed with that and it took me some time. But filming with her all summer, it actually was good and healthy to see her, and we were cordial, we were able to get along. I was happy for her, and for me, it was kind of like, ‘Okay, she’s moved on and she’s happy and that’s all that really matters.’”
Carl said Lindsay had a cheerful demeanor over the summer and had “a good time” with their Hamptons housemates.
“It was really nice to see her get along with everybody,” he told the outlet. “She was much happier and it made me happy seeing her happy.”

But, as seen in the Season 9 trailer, there was at least one moment when the former couple had a heated exchange. Carl said the incident went down during a Shabbat dinner hosted by Jesse Solomon.
“It’ll be a pretty epic fight between me and Lindsay, just verbal,” he teased. “There’s no yelling and screaming. It’s just back and forth, back and forth.”

Lindsay and her boyfriend, Turner Kufe, welcomed their baby girl on December 8, 2024, about a year after they rekindled their romance. The Hamptons housemate shed more light on her relationship during a recent interview with E! News, revealing why she and her beau have yet to move in together.
“It’s a lot of pressure getting pregnant a few months into dating somebody. So, I wanted to take the pressure off in every other department,” she explained. “I’m an independent woman and I’m a strong girl. If the relationship works out, great. And if it doesn’t, we’ll figure it out. But I didn’t need to move too quickly in the relationship just because I was pregnant.”
Are Lindsay and Turner planning to get married?
Lindsay also made it clear she wasn’t thinking about an engagement or wedding, as she was primarily focused on her daughter, Gemma Britt Kufe.
“Because my last relationship, it was really traumatizing how it ended with Carl,” she said. “I took a step back and I’m trying to learn from my mistakes. I got pregnant really quickly into the relationship and that became the focus and it’s still the focus. I’m more concerned right now about changing my baby’s diapers and her spitting up and if I can shower before 3 p.m. more than ‘let me get married.’”
