The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, June 18, reveal that a doomed couple will enjoy the calm before the storm. Some drama’s brewing thanks to a risky decision, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
Now that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has decided not to publish the hit pieces that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is demanding, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is feeling relieved.
This is great news for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) since the smear campaign was all about him, but Chelsea also thinks it’s good to see Adam’s willingness to stand up to his father.
You can bet a storm is brewing since Victor gave Adam a firm deadline.
Once that deadline comes and the hit pieces aren’t online, Adam could get some angry calls, voicemails and texts from Victor!
However, Adam may ignore Victor’s attempts to contact him and keep delaying his father’s inevitable wrath.
Chelsea and Adam will sizzle as they conduct some business on Wednesday’s show, but their work partnership could end in disaster if they both get fired.
That could certainly happen after Victor returns since Adam disobeyed his order.
Whatever the case, Chelsea and Adam will be doomed to face Victor’s fury down the road, but they’ll savor some happy alone time for now.
Over with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), he’ll turn to Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) for some guidance.
Daniel is doing better these days, but he could always use a little advice from his dad.
Next, Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) repeated attempts to push Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) away will take a toll.
Tessa will finally run out of patience and snap at Mariah since they can’t have a real marriage like this.
Of course, Tessa may soften after her temper tantrum and apologize since she’s just frustrated over being shut out.
Mariah really needs to drop her guard and bring Tessa in the loop on whatever happened with that stranger (Michael Swan) during her business trip.
Although Mariah doesn’t want to drag Tessa into what seems to be a criminal mess, Tessa will once again urge her to just come clean.
