The Young and the Restless Week of June 9 Update: Sally’s Sudden Crisis – Phyllis & Tessa Face Off

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of June 9-13 reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will tackle a sudden crisis while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) face off. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will also deceive Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.

After Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) decides not to attend Aristotle Dumas party, she may have second thoughts due to a new addition to the guest list – namely Phyllis!

Sharon will want to stick around Genoa City and support Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), but she won’t like the thought of Phyllis hogging all Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) attention on this trip.

As for Mariah, she’ll continue to dwell on her night with a mystery man (Michael Swan).

Despite attempting to open up to Tessa, Mariah will ultimately fly into a rage and push for space instead.

Phyllis will later talk to Tessa about Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), so she may think it’s time to drop the guitar lessons and encourage Daniel to focus on something that could provide an actual career path.

However, Tessa will refuse to steer Daniel down whatever road Phyllis wants him on.

Daniel is in the driver’s seat of his own life and deserves to make his own decisions – even if that means he’s just throwing himself into music right now.

While Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hands down an ultimatum to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will turn to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) for guidance.

Chelsea will eventually have a meeting with Victor and try to bargain with him – presumably when it comes to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and the smear campaign Victor wants to launch.

Sally will have to help Billy tackle a sudden crisis, so we’ll see if that involves Newman Media attacks or something else.

After Victor updates Audra on the invites he obtained for her along with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll push her to hurry up and convince Kyle to attend Dumas’ gathering.

Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will eavesdrop as Audra plots against Kyle, who’ll take the bait and get Claire Newman’s (Hayley Erin) approval on going to this soiree in France.

Audra won’t fill Nate in on her true agenda regarding this party, so she’ll have to lie to him in the coming episodes.

Dumas is about to throw a bash to remember, so look for his extended stay celebration to kick off soon.

Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will also catch up with Daniel upon their return to GC.

That should give Daniel a chance to talk about his guitar lessons and perhaps even play a tune.
