Today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Bill and Liam share an exceptionally loving father-son moment, their bond deepening.
B&B Recap August 12: Luna Is Awake
Li is overjoyed that Sheila manages to wake Luna up, but Sheila doesn’t want the credit. She insists it’s all Li, saying Li is the one who saves Luna’s life, just like she saved Finn years ago. Sheila gently asks Luna if she remembers anything. When Luna looks confused, Sheila goes ahead and recounts everything — how she lured Steffy to the beach house and how Luna ended up shooting her. She even tells her that she lost another toe in the chaos.
In classic Sheila fashion, she shows Luna the missing toe and actually laughs about it, turning the awkward moment into something weirdly sweet. Luna cracks a small smile. Sheila reassures her that everything is going to be okay. She says she and Li are never letting her go again. She’s family now, and she’ll never be alone. Sheila talks about how far Li went to save her, how the whole world thinks Luna is dead, and how that’s actually a blessing in disguise. It’s a second chance. Sheila promises to give her everything she can to make sure Luna’s dreams come true.
Later, while Sheila and Li go over Luna’s medications, Luna watches them with a soft smile. Sheila’s promise stays with her — and so does the thought of Will Spencer as she flashes back to that kiss.
Electra Confides in Ivy
Across town, Electra is thrilled that Luna is finally out of their lives. Ivy adds that it feels like the universe stepped in to protect Liam from total disaster. Electra agrees but admits she’s facing a different kind of challenge. Things are great with Will — amazing, even — but there’s one issue. Will wants to take their relationship to the next level, and she’s just not ready.
She opens up about how much Will has changed her life. He’s the only guy who makes her want to let her guard down, but after everything she’s been through — especially the deepfakes— she needs to feel completely safe. Ivy is supportive and encourages her to move at her own pace. Electra says she knows the right moment will come, but it hasn’t yet. When it does, though, it’ll be perfect.
Will Confides in Mommy
Meanwhile, Katie and Will are catching up. They talk about Brooke and how she’s recovering after the boat incident in Italy. The conversation shifts to Liam and how Grace miraculously saved him with an experimental procedure. Will reflects on how his father would have done anything to give his brother another shot. He’s just glad Liam is okay.
Then he brings up Electra. His eyes light up as he admits how much he loves her. He’s crazy about her, but yeah, they’re struggling to take that next step. Katie praises him, saying he’s a good man and she knows he’ll always respect Electra’s boundaries. Will admits that it’s hard. He wants her — a lot. But he also knows she’s worth waiting for.
B&B Recap August 12: Bill Is Furious
Bill is in shock. He can’t believe they got played like that. Liam apologizes, but Bill says he has nothing to be sorry for. This is all on Grace. She made him believe his son was dying. Liam calls the situation a tragedy. Bill, on the other hand, is furious. He says Grace is done. She’s going to pay for what she did. Hope and Liam explain that she’s already at the police station and that it was Finn who put the pieces together.
Bill beats himself up. He usually sees a scam from a mile away, but this time, he didn’t. Now he’s focused on making sure Grace never does this to anyone else. He promises to use every ounce of his power and influence to get her locked away for a very long time.
Liam tries to keep things light and says he’ll take a fake death sentence over a real one any day. The two share a hug and say they love each other.
Hope and Liam Alone
But Liam can’t shake what happened. One minute, he’s celebrating a second chance at life, and the next, he’s the man who shot someone — Luna Nozawa.
He never imagined he’d be in that position. But in that moment, Luna was holding a gun on Steffy, and he did what he thought he had to do to protect the mother of his child. It doesn’t feel like a victory. It feels heavy. Real.
Hope, standing close, reminds him that because of his actions, they don’t have to worry about Luna anymore. The danger is over. And maybe, finally, they can start to heal.
