A La Quinta, California, home owned by “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne’s estranged — and legally embattled — husband is in escrow, The Post can exclusively reveal.
Jayne displayed visible shock when fellow “Real Housewives” stars Kyle Richards and Crystal Kung Minkoff mistakenly said the home owned by Tom Girardi had sold in 2018.
“How can [Tom Girardi] sell that without telling me?” the 50-year-old “XXPEN$IVE” singer reacted in the Aug. 4 episode.
But the 3-bedroom, 3½-bathroom house — which an apparently stunned Jayne also said she has “never been in” — hadn’t actually sold; in fact, the 3,700-square-foot house had not sold since 2006, property records show.
The forced bankruptcy sale listing first went up on June 22, property records show.
Listing broker Steve Enlow of Desert Sands Realty told The Post the house had multiple offers and is now in escrow — for the second time after the first deal fell through — and awaiting court approval.
Everything in the 85-year-old lawyer’s house, including the furniture, is included in the sale, said Enlow.
The mystery intensified in the recent episode of “RHOBH” when Jayne additionally claimed that she did not know the address of the La Quinta house.
“I asked about the home or property in La Quinta, and I never got a straight answer,” Jayne said on the show during a discussion when she opened up to her castmates about her ex’s legal woes.
The home, listed for $1.25 million, is held under G&L Aviation LLC, of which he owns 50% with Walter Lack of Engstrom Lipscomb & Lack LLP, but Girardi is considered to be the full owner of the house, according to a March 24 asset summary filed with the US Bankruptcy Court.
Girardi faces embezzlement claims due to alleged misuse of funds from the Lion Air Flight 610 crash settlement with Boeing, and a judge ruled last month that Jayne could be required to pay money to victims.
Girardi is under conservatorship amid his major neurocognitive disorder diagnosis. Jayne, who has accused Girardi of infidelity, has been hiding out at an LA rental, The Post reported.
“You’re welcome over to my new tiny baby dollhouse,” Jayne said on the show. “It’s a rental, it’s cute.”
Meanwhile, their marital home in Pasadena is also in a forced bankruptcy sale, asking under $10 million.
The couple is the focus of a documentary, “The Housewife and the Hustler,” which was released on Hulu this summer.
