While Gio’s true parentage is still a secret, he’s already got his unknown family members Sonny and Tracy in his corner on the March 6, 2025 episode of General Hospital.
Quartermaine vs. Corinthos
Everything was calm and civil in the Quartermaine living room as Tracy (Jane Elliot), Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Lois (Rena Sofer), and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) enjoyed each other’s company. Things were even fine when Gio (Giovanni Mazza) popped in, but once Sonny (Maurice Benard) arrived, it became an all-out war.
Sonny brought papers for Gio to sign that would secure an educational trust for the aspiring violinist. After the devastating death of Gio’s “parents,” not only did The Cerullos take him in like he was their own, but Sonny lent his financial support to the young orphan.
Sonny’s gesture came as a surprise to nobody except Tracy, who immediately ordered Gio to turn Sonny down. This turned into a blowout between Tracy and Sonny that resulted in Gio going with what he thought was best and signing the papers.
Family Ties
As Gio had another heart-to-heart with Tracy, Sonny asked Lois if he truly should stay away from Gio. While it’s still unclear whether Sonny knows the truth, it’s presumed that neither Tracy nor Sonny have any idea that they are Gio’s great-grandmother and grandfather, respectively.
While Lois believes she and Martin are the only ones in the know, Lulu (Alexa Havins) took what she learned to Carly (Laura Wright), needing advice on how to handle the situation. Lulu continued weighing her options, knowing that Dante had the right to know but did not want to upend a young man’s life.
