“We have so much to catch up on,” Vicki gushed, walking through the door. “I have a staph infection. The doctor didn’t want me to leave the hospital, but I checked myself out because I’m very, very busy.” Seriously?! You can die from a staph infection. Plus they’re very, very contagious and can spread easily from person to person.
But Vicki doesn’t have time to be sick. While Shannon warns her that God is telling her to slow down, Vicki prefers to keep living life at full speed.
What’s Vicki up to these days?
“I don’t want to be slowing down,” she says in response to Shannon’s remark, “because then you’re sedentary. The grass is going to grow around you, and you’re not going to be able to see through it. I like being busy. I’m a type-A girl. I have enough money to retire if I wanted to, but what would I do?”
These days the OG of the OC is still keeping busy. Thanks to her daughter Briana and her husband Ryan Culberson, she has four beautiful grandchildren, three little boys and one girl.
As for her romantic life, Vicki is still dating businessman Michael Smith. She’s moved on from the unfortunate relationship with ex-fiancé Steve Lodge and has been with Michael since 2022. She seems very happy with him, and they’ve even spent time together in Puerto Vallarta, Vicki’s favorite place. I wonder if she danced for him on the bar of Andalé’s. We all know how Vicki loves to “whoop it up,” especially in Mexico.
Vicki’s still running Coto Insurance. According to the company website, “Vicki started her insurance and financial services career … in 1991 and quickly became the top agent in her company within the first year of her career. With sheer determination and a passion for business, she [built] Coto Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. into one of the most successful insurance agencies in the entire country.”
She might not be ready to retire, but she can certainly afford to take a little time off and look after her health. You want to be around to watch those grandbabies grow up, Vicki!
