The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, August 11 saw Luna coming around, Ivy feeling hopeful, and Dollar Bill learned the awful truth.
Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) was over the moon that her granddaughter was still alive. She may not be in great shape. She may not be awake. But, she’s getting her second chance at life…just like Li (Naomi Matsuda) did with Finn (Tanner Novlan). But why? Why did Li save her after everything?
Li told her how everything happened. Yes, she was angry with Luna, but when she was assigned to save her life after the shooting, she simply could not let her slip away. Something shifted inside her. She HAD TO do whatever it took to give Luna a chance at redemption. A chance to live a good life. Poppy (Romy Park) neglected the poor girl her whole life. She deserved better…and Li decided to give her the love and care she truly deserves.

While Sheila appreciated that, she wondered why Li pulled her out of the hospital and lied to everyone. That answer was simple. If she kept her at the hospital, the moment she opened her eyes, she’d be carted off to prison. Li didn’t want that, so she revisited her old trick.
Sheila agreed to keep this all secret, then took a minute alone to beg Luna to open her eyes. Luna squeezed Sheila’s hand as tight as she could and slowly but surely began to come around. Her grandmothers couldn’t be happier and tears of relief streamed down her face.
Ivy Felt A Sense of Relief
Who won’t be so happy are Electra (Laneya Grace) and Will (Crew Morrow). They were at the office smooching and chatting. Oh, how relieved they are that Luna is gone for good! She’ll never bother them or their families again. What a relief. Adding to that was their collective joy that Liam made it through everything okay too. He survived Luna AND brain cancer all in a single week. What a miracle!
Soon, Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) joined them and was excited to hear that her beloved Liam is going to live. She cried tears of joy and shared her relief with Electra. She couldn’t even fathom how to say goodbye to Liam and was glad she wouldn’t have to.

Across the hall, Katie (Heather Tom) and Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) were also discussing Liam’s recovery. Katie couldn’t get over the shock of hearing the harrowing tale of Grace (Cassandra Creech) finding a way to save his son, even if it did take a boatload of money. Money Bill would happily spend again and again for his boys. Little did they know it was all a big, fat lie.
Dollar Bill Lost His Mind
As for Liam, he was at home raging out over what Grace put him through. For months, he thought he was dying. He was making preparations to say goodbye to his girls and everyone that he loves. For what? For nothing. For Grace to pay off Reese’s (Wayne Brady) debts. How dare she?! How absolutely dare she!
Obviously, Hope was just as upset. Grace had so many other options. She didn’t have to do any of this. At least they are getting some justice. Finn texted to assure them Grace was, in fact, at he station and did turn herself in. They decided it was time to call Bill (Don Diamont) with the horrific news. They asked him to rush home, which Bill was more than happy to do.
Bill got home and Liam had the daunting task of explaing the whole sordid tale to him. Grace faked the cancer and scammed Dollar Bill for a cool million. It was all lies. As you can imagine, Bill absolutely lost it. He went ballistic thinking about the level of betrayal. He vowed to make her pay. He’s going to make her wish she never set eyes on him.
