Imrul Hassan recently shared exclusive behind-the-scenes insights from the Summer House Season 9 reunion, offering fans a deeper look into his experience on the show
🎤 Behind the Scenes with Imrul
In an interview with BravoTV.com, Imrul discussed his feelings leading up to the reunion, admitting he was "a bit nervous, but mostly excited." To prepare, he watched the last two reunions to understand the vibe and pace of the discussions. He also strategized with fellow newcomer Lexi Wood, deciding to "go for the jugular" and be candid during the reunion.Â
🏷️ Addressing the "Orgy Beast" Label
During the reunion, host Andy Cohen asked Imrul if he felt pigeonholed by the "orgy beast" nickname. Imrul acknowledged feeling typecast but took responsibility for leading with a story about attending a sex party upon meeting his housemates. He clarified that such events were not a regular part of his life and joked that he's more of an "orgy novice."Â
🏠Reflecting on His Time in the House
Imrul admitted that he didn't do a good job connecting with his housemates, especially as someone who was there alone. He found it a bit uncomfortable and nerve-wracking, leading him to lean into familiar behaviors rather than forming deeper bonds.Â
🌍 Beyond the Show
Outside of the drama, Imrul has been working on building an English school in Bangladesh, aiming to provide educational opportunities for children in his home country. He expressed gratitude for the platform Summer House provided to raise awareness for this cause.
📺 Summer House airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo and is available for streaming on Peacock.

Imrul Hassan and Lexi Wood strategized ahead of the reunion
There's nothing like being able to go directly to the source either, so Imrul got "a little bit" of advice from vet Carl Radke. He also spoke to fellow Season 9 newcomer Lexi Wood "a few days" before the reunion filmed in New York City.
"She and I were kinda on the same page in like we don't know how many more reunions we're gonna have," he said.
So, what reunion strategy did he and Lexi concoct? "Let's go for the jugular," Imrul teased. "Let's just throw it all out there and see what happens."
It turns out, he even indirectly took a page from Lindsay Hubbard's book, too, adding that filming with the then-pregnant Summer House OG taught him that even if life comes at you in the "most aggressive way," you can "still have fun, and don't change who you are."
