Here's more information regrading Jacob Trouba's future with the Rangers.

Jacob Trouba is receiving more attention off the ice than he did on the ice as a defenseman in the playoffs.

Even The austere Athletic is getting into the soap opera The Maven calls "The Trouba Follies."

Author Peter Bauth of The A has joined a long list of bloggers that include my personal favorite Patrick Hoffman, Vincent Mercogliano, Sean McCaffrey, our own Remy Mastey and The Post's posse including Larry Brooks and Mollie Walker

According to Mercogliano of Lohud.com, "Trouba is not happy with what's going on." Baugh in The Athletic writes, "Trouba is dealing with unruly fans on social media....."

Pal Patrick Hoffman adds, "Drury is in an ugly situation."nWell, maybe the Rangers general manager is and maybe he isn't?

He is if you believe that the Blueshirts tried to trade Trouba to Detroit – thereby giving him a heave-ho from Manhattan – while leaving his team without a captain. As we all know, Trouba, the trooper, still has a NYC subway pass.

He is if you believe that a "Get outta town!" would really botch things up for future doctor Kelly Tyson-Trouba who needs one more year to wrap up her medical residency.

He isn't if you believe that Drury has the savvy to work things out whether he trades Trouba or not.

Baugh spanks the "unruly fans on social media who have been nasty" with Trouba. (Then again, isn't "nasty" what social media is all about? Of course it is!)

"I wouldn't want to be in Drury's shoes," Hoffman concludes. I don't know about that, Patrick. I just don't know.

Maybe if I told you how much dough this Drury fella gets just for watching hockey games, you might say that he's the 32nd luckiest guy in the world.

And you'd find that his pair of Florsheim oxfords fit you very well!
