he RHOA season 16 reunion wrapped up a season full of shake-ups, firings, and rekindled friendships. Andy Cohen guided the ladies through receipts, accusations, and emotional moments as they addressed the year’s most headline-making drama.

With Kenya Moore gone mid-season, Phaedra Parks returning to Bravo, and new rifts forming among old friends, the reunion offered some closure—and set the stage for season 17. Bravo hasn’t confirmed the next cast lineup yet, but if filming starts in August as rumored, fans won’t have to wait long to see what happens next.

Where the Season 16 Housewives Left Things

Porsha Williams returned to the series while navigating a divorce from Simon Guobadia and mourning the loss of her cousin. She also faced a surprising fallout with Shamea Morton, her best friend since childhood. By the reunion’s end, the two reconnected, with Porsha telling her, “I continue to love you, I continue to cheer for you.”

Phaedra Parks joined after Kenya’s firing, avoiding most of the season’s mess — except for a tense exchange with Angela Oakley over cheating rumors involving Angela’s husband. Phaedra denied any involvement and left on good terms with most of the group.

Shamea Morton held a peach for the first time, sharing her daughter’s health struggles and ups and downs with Porsha. She told Andy she hopes to be “more open” if she returns.

Kelli Ferrell opened up about divorce, single motherhood, and her business challenges. She admitted she’ll “pick and choose” her friendships more carefully next time.

Angela Oakley was candid about her marriage to Charles Oakley and her business struggles. Despite tension with Phaedra, she said there’s nothing they can’t “iron out.”

Drew Sidora balanced her divorce with her music career and mended fences with Porsha after collaborating with Porsha’s ex. “We found our way back to some apologies and healing,” she said.

Who’s Out—and Who Might Join—for RHOA Season 17

Kenya Moore was fired after allegedly showing explicit images of Brit Eady at a public event. Brit Eady skipped the reunion entirely and has since filed a $20 million lawsuit against NBC, Bravo, and production companies for emotional distress.

Kenya hinted during an Instagram Live that Bravo has signed two high-profile new Housewives — one from “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” and another who’s a well-known restaurateur. She also claimed season 17 filming will begin in August.

OG RHOA star NeNe Leakes‘ name has also been floated amid the rumored cast of season 17. Especially after she revealed she was set to be on “The Traitors” season 4 but had to drop out, proving she and NBC were back on good terms.

With most of the remaining cast on decent terms after the reunion, season 17 could see familiar faces alongside these rumored additions. But on RHOA, peace never lasts long.
