We all seemed to catch Olympic fever thanks to the 2024 games in Paris, but we don’t have to wait until 2028 for more gymnastics in our lives. The 2025 U.S. Gymnastics Championships are taking place this weekend at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and we have all the details on where to watch and stream this weekend.
Coverage of the 2025 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships will be handled by NBC Sports and its network of brands, NBC reported. The action kicked off on Thursday, August 7, at 8 p.m. ET on Peacock with Men’s Day 1 competition. If you happened to miss the action last night, you can catch delayed coverage of Men’s Day 1 on CNBC on Saturday, August 9, at 2 p.m. ET.
Coverage will resume on Friday, August 8, at 7:45 p.m. ET on Peacock, which will be the Women’s Day 1 competition. If you miss it, delayed coverage can be found on CNBC on Saturday, August 9, at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Live coverage of the Men’s Day 2 competition will be found on both CNBC and Peacock starting at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 9. The delayed coverage of the Men’s Day 2 competition will air Sunday, August 10 at 12 p.m. ET on NBC.
The conclusion of Women’s Day 2 live coverage starts at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, August 10, on both NBC and Peacock.
For those tuning in to watch the 2025 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, the NBC Sports coverage will be headlined by three-time U.S. Olympic gymnast John Roethlisberger, Beijing Olympic team silver medalist Samantha Peszek, Rio Olympic team gold medalist and “DWTS” season 23 winner Laurie Hernandez, and Los Angeles team gold medalist Tim Daggett.
For the men’s part of the competition, fans will be keeping an eye on Stephen Nedoroscik, who is competing for his fifth consecutive U.S. pommel horse title. Of course, we all know Nedoroscik from the Paris games and then his run for the mirrorball trophy on season 33 of “Dancing With the Stars.”
He came off the bench to nail his pommel horse routine. This helped the men’s team win its first Olympic medal since 2008. Nedoroscik also became the first U.S. man to win an individual gymnastics medal since 2016.
Besides Nedoroscik, some of his bronze-winning teammates will be competing in the 2025 Championships. These athletes include Brody Malone, Asher Hong, and Frederick Richard.
For the women’s part of the competition, things will be led by Hezly Rivera, who helped the U.S. women’s team win gold at the Paris Olympics. It won’t be an easy road for Rivera, who will be competing against Paris Olympic alternates and 2023 world team champions Joscelyn Roberson and Leanne Wong.
Some other forces to keep an eye out for are Claire Pease, who recently won the 2025 U.S. Classic, and Skye Blakely, the 2024 U.S. all-around silver medalist. Blakely will be returning to the U.S. Championships to compete in the uneven bars and balance beam.
