Despite being a city that’s been home to the likes of Helena Cassadine, Cyrus Renault, and Sidwell, Drew Quartermaine has been the most hated person in Port Charles. As Drew’s long list of enemies grows, could General Hospital be gearing up for a classic whodunnit?
The Accused
Drew (Cameron Mathison) has been hated across Port Charles for months, ever since the news got out that he had an affair with his nephew’s wife, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Since then, he’s not only become obsessed with her, showing up when he wasn’t wanted and later buying a house with the assumption she would be moving in with her kids, but he’s also wrecked havoc on former some friends.
Using both his Quartermaine and Congressman titles, he’s managed to betray not only The Q’s, but also Curtis (Donnell Turner), and now holds Portia’s (Brook Kerr) career in his hands as leverage over them. All that said – unless he turns out to actually be Shiloh! – who would be prime suspects if Drew were to show up dead?
Portia
Though unlikely, Portia may be the number one suspect in a Drew murder after she flat-out told Ava (Maura West) that her career was at risk as long as Drew was alive. He’s got the proof that she tampered with Heather’s (ex-Alley Mills) test results, but she’s got the attitude of a fighter who will do anything she must to protect herself.
Tracy
Murder might be a lot too messy for the likes of Tracy (Jane Elliot), but she’s been the mastermind behind plenty of schemes in her day. She almost let her own father die by withholding his medication. She hates Drew with a passion for tainting her family name. And kicking him out of the mansion might not be good enough for her.
Nina and Carly
Nothing would be more fun to watch than two rivals cover up a shared murder for the man they both hate. The Young and the Restless did it when Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Sharon (Sharon Case) “killed” JT (ex-Thad Luckinbill) and Days of our Lives did it when Sami (Alison Sweeney), Kate (Lauren Koslow), and Gabi (then Camila Banus) “killed” Nick (ex-Blake Berris) – could GH be next to create a badass, murdering dream team to cover up Drew’s death?
Michael
Sure, he’s laid up in the hospital as he recovers from his burns, but that wouldn’t stop Michael (ex-Chad Duell) from exacting revenge on the man who stole his wife. Plus, he’s got the distance between Port Charles and Germany on his side.
